Samphire Subsea Case Study

Samphire has completed a number of decommissioning studies for major pipelines and subsea developments.

In addition to the study work, the Samphire team has experience across a number of areas of decommissioning projects from detailed planning of the execution works, contractor selection and management, regulatory permit support, offshore execution management and close out.

Execute experience within the company covers pipeline de-oiling for a number of North Sea clients, dynamic flexible riser recovery, dissection and disposal for a central North Sea asset and preparations for removal of a small southern North Sea platform – dredging, risers cuts, spool removal, pipeline end remedial works, debris clearance and environmental survey / sampling.

Members of the Samphire team contributed to the Oil and Gas UK Decommissioning Insight project (published in 2013) and continue to work with forums such as the Pipeline Users Group to develop good practice.
